What services do you offer?
We specialise in mobile cosmetic car body repairs, including:
- Scratches & scuffs
- Bumper repairs
- Minor dents
- Paint touch-ups
- Stone chips
Do you come to me?
Yes. We’re a fully mobile service and travel to your home or workplace across the Sunshine Coast. All we need is access to power and space to park the van nearby. We do not work in multi-storey car parks without ventilation unless you’ve been given specific permission by body corporate.
What areas do you service?
We service the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs take 2–4 hours, depending on the damage. We’ll give you an accurate time estimate when quoting.
How do I get a quote?
Simply send us photos or a short video of the damage via our contact form or text. We’ll provide a fixed price quote before booking.
Is it cheaper than a body shop?
In most cases, yes. Because we work mobile and focus on localised repairs, we’re often significantly cheaper than traditional body shops.
Will the price change after the job starts?
No. Once your quote is accepted, the price is fixed unless additional damage is discovered (which we’ll discuss with you first).
Will the paint match my car?
Yes. We use manufacturer paint codes and blend the repair so it matches your vehicle’s original finish.
Will the repair be noticeable?
Our goal is for repairs to be virtually invisible. While cosmetic repairs are not structural resprays, the results are often indistinguishable to the untrained eye.
Is this suitable before selling or returning a lease?
Absolutely. Many customers use us to:
- Prepare a car for sale
- Avoid end-of-lease or fleet return penalties
- Improve resale value
How do I book?
Once you approve your quote, we’ll arrange a convenient date and time that suits you.
What do you need on the day?
- Access to the vehicle
- Access to a power outlet
- The car keys
- Someone available for contactless payment
How can I pay?
We accept card payments and cash. We don’t offer discounts for cash.
Are there repairs you don’t do?
Yes. We don’t carry out:
- Structural accident repairs
- Major rust repairs
- Full resprays
Why choose Premium Touch Ups?
- Mobile convenience
- Professional finish
- Fixed pricing
- Honest advice
- Specialist cosmetic
- Repair experience
How can I tell if a scratch is deep enough to need painting?
If the scratch disappears when the surface is wet, it might polish out. Conversely, if you can feel it with your fingernail, it is probably deeper and may require professional repair.
Can I get a dent fixed without paint?
If the paint hasn’t been damaged, then a paintless dent removal technician can fix it without repainting. We do not offer this service at the moment.
How much does it cost to repair scratches and dents?
Costs depend on the extent of the damage. Light scratches and small dents are typically less expensive to repair, while deeper scratches or significant damage can be more costly. You can request a free quote by providing your car details. Generally our services range between $300-$2000 depending on the repair(s) needed.
Is it necessary to fix small scratches and dents?
Yes, even small damage can lead to rust, reduce resale value, and worsen over time if left unrepaired.
Will insurance cover scratch and dent repair?
Insurance may cover repairs under comprehensive or collision coverage, depending on your policy and deductible.
- Comprehensive insurance may cover damage from hail, vandalism, or falling objects.
- Collision insurance may cover accident-related damage.
- Small repairs may not be worth claiming if the cost is less than your deductible.
Can I repair scratches and dents myself?
Minor scratches can sometimes be fixed at home, but dents and deeper scratches are best handled by professionals to avoid causing further damage.
Can scratches lead to rust?
Yes, scratches that expose bare metal can result in rust if not repaired promptly. If a scratch reaches the bare metal and isn’t addressed, moisture can lead to rust formation and spreading.
Can dents come back after repair?
If correctly repaired by a professional, dents should not return. Poor-quality repairs may deteriorate over time.
What is Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?
Paintless Dent Repair is a technique where technicians:
- Gently push or pull dents back into shape.
- Do not repaint the car.
- Preserve the original factory paint.
Is it worth fixing scratches and dents by professionals?
Yes, because professional repairs:
- Enhance the car’s appearance.
- Prevent rust from exposed metal.
- Help maintain resale value.
- Stop further damage from occurring over time.
